About Me
I’m Cathie Canary, and I’ll start off by saying I’m delighted to be back home. I was born and raised right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley in Reno, where I graduated from Marietta High School and worked in the law offices of William (Bill) A. Fields and Paul G. Bertram, Jr. In college, I earned degrees in Business Administration, Bible/Theology, and Christian Education.
I spent 25 great years working with college students dedicated to service, but I knew a career change was in order after observing graduates in careers and ministries worldwide who lived sacrificially and then had no means or plans for their financial futures, and others retiring with nothing but the promise of a Social Security check. No one was looking out for their retirement or the loved ones they left behind…
